The International Institute of Reborn Art was founded in 2009 for the purpose of promoting reborn dolls as a fine art form. By employing the highest requirements, IIORA encourages gifted artists who create entirely original reborn dolls to strive for the highest quality and uniqueness of their talents. Artists' membership in IIORA is by election, and the Standards Committee's decisions are based on the following statement: Whether produced as a unique reborn doll, the ideal work reflects excellence; all work must be consistently well conceived, expertly executed without flaws, and should show the identity of the particular artist. All those interested in applying for artist membership should give serious thought to these ideals:
Excellence of Execution
The work must be well made, impeccably finished. A mastery of medium used should be correctly applied. Painting should be flawless and suit the age and race of the baby represented. Hair application should be of appropriate material and flawlessly applied as well. Chosen outfits should be well conceived, appropriate for the baby and the occasion it represents as well as expertly made, if hand made.
Consistency
An IIORA artist must be trusted to exhibit the highest quality of workmanship in every reborn produced. A IIORA artist has the highest personal standards for their work that reflect the organization's strict standards.
Identity of Design
This is an essential element in IIORA's standards - each IIORA artist's having a true signature style baby that can be identified as a true piece of art. Every IIORA artist should have a style that is utterly unique and recognizable.
Let's Reborn Workshops & Online Tutorials has originated after numerous requests from new as well as existing artists with advice and help.
After some of the world's top reborn artists join forces, Let's Reborn was born.
Founding Member Suzette du Plessis of Petit Cherie Nursery,managed to join up with the Cream of Reborn Artists - Adora Galleone of Sweetdreams Babies, Sylvia Jantzen of Little Dreamland Baby's and Charlotte Thorin of Angel Baby and have established the "Let's Reborn" Workshops & Online Classes with Helen Jalland as Advisor. We also managed to have Simon Laurens join us as Sculpting Tutor.
Doll Reborning is to create the illusion of a real baby by painting a doll or doll kit. Over the past few years this art form has taken the whole world by storm and many ladies has joined this fraternity as new Reborn Artists.
Realism is the key factor in doll reborning and once you have mastered this, you will be well on your way in creating the most lifelike dolls for all to love and adore.
You will embark on a field that will give you many hours of joy and fulfillment, even if this comes at a very high price. It will be a very expensive, but rewarding journey and your biggest reward will be the finished baby and not money.
Great creativity comes from people doing what their heart's passion is and sharing and learning with others. Everyone has a unique talent or skill set. It is through our sharing with each other, that we evolve our unique artistic ability.
To follow one prescribed way of doing something is to produce something on a mass produced level. But to acquire skill from one artist and add experimenting and experience, is to lay the foundation for a great artist and a great work of art.

We don't have any commitee to monitor this guild, for our artists have already proved with their work to aim for excellence in both reborn and sculpt artistry. The purpose of D.A.D.E. guild is to promote quality and professionalism in the two arts and to cultivate friendship among the member artists. Artists showing D.A.D.E. logo support each other's creations and offer baby dolls you will treasure for the rest of your life.
