Anyway, she got the cake first, then I gave her the scrapbook with the photos and she was probably puzzled by it and then I walked in with Marisol swaddled in her blankie. My daughter takes after her father, that is, quite reserved. But she did love her very much and has tried on all the clothes. We have taken her shopping but I cannot walk five steps before I am stopped "Can I see your baby?" "is it a boy or girl?" and depending on my mood, sometimes we string them along a bit. But even when we say it's a doll they don't want to believe us. My friends are all besotted with her. Sabine has made some bracelets for her as well. She is very sweet, sleeps in Sabines baby crib. Every single day Angelica is found nestled in her mother's arms where she is rocked and cradled and loved more than you could ever imagine possible. I will treasure Angelica for the rest of my life and I want you to know that she is in good care. Lots of love Heather Baby Layla is now the daughter of Bronwyn, my 12 year old. She says that she thinks Layla is beautiful and cute. She particularly loves her face and her precious little hands. When Bronwyn has taken her out to the shops or to school she is uncomfortable when others want to touch her in case they hurt her. She feels very happy when people comment on how realistic she is and feels very proud that Layla is her baby. Bronwyn just wishes when she kisses Layla goodnight at night that she could just suddenly start to breathe and become a real baby. Every morning she checks to make sure that she is still safely tucked into her blanket and that she has not vanished during the night. Thank you so much Suzette for making this miracle for me!
